Our initial focus when we began Evolve Skateboards in 2010 was to take a high-performance street skateboard and extend that experience by making it electric. Founder Jeff Anning was obsessed with board sports, such as snowboarding and surfing, and felt that street electric skateboards were the closest way to experience that endless carving feeling when you couldn’t get to the snow or beach.

About Street Electric Skateboards
We ultimately became the first electric skateboard company to design a gear that could fit into traditional street skateboard wheels, opening a new world of endless options. Fast forward to now, electric skateboarding is still the best way to get your carving fix, but it has also become a fast-growing hobby in its own right.
