Diablo Bamboo Street Electric Skateboard

I opened the box and this board levitated itself up out of the box and floated in mid air. Ok maybe not but this board is just awesome. 200 miles in the first week no issues whatsoever. I come from a Boosted Steatlh and this is a completely different animal. The deck and DKP just float like butter. This is not a toy its a tool. Customer service has been exceptional. Thank you Evolve.

First off, I'm a larger rider - 6'1, 210lbs, and torque is the first thing I'm looking for in a board. I live in an area with a ton of hills and previous boards have always let me down. The Diablo finally gets it right in every way, but especially torque. I can ride basically anywhere with this board and hills just aren't a concern anymore. The Phase remote is in a class by itself. I have other ESK8s besides Evolve and the fit and finish of everything, but especially the remote, is in a class of it's own. I swapped my wheels to Cloudwheels Explorer 135s, and that's the perfect sweet spot for this board on really rough pavement. My only request is that Evolve would make a proper "between" wheel, like the Explorer or Onsra wheel. Their 97mm is super soft and chunks far too easily to justify the cost, the 87mm is a little too small and you'll scrape on a lot of seems and rough pavement, and the AT wheels are great for AT, but take too much of a range hit. A 115-135 is perfect for this board and for those of us outside of perfect pavement.

This board is awesome. The speed and range are exactly what I was looking for. It cruises up hills. This summer is going to be rad, it feels like snowboarding!

Compare to my Carbon GT and Bamboo GT, this board is on another level 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The amount of power you have at your fingertips is scary. Took me a couple of hours to get used to it... Eco mode feel like GT mode on my other boards. I absolutely love this board, it's smooth and powerful... can't wait to do a proper range test on it... nice work Evolve! Now I need the Onirique to complete the collection 😜

Please grab your roster of electric skateboard Allstars, and jot down Diablo *MVP* at the top! If you grew up at skateparks and bombing down hills like I did, you will appreciate the intact lineage to the Diablo that has been lost on many of these other skateboard shaped machines flying around today. This ride is absolutely dialed in and will exceed your expectations on all categories of electric skateboarding, the brightest highlights for me being its raw performance & range. If you take a look at the attached ride log image, you'll see that I traveled almost 77 miles over 3 hours, as fast as my heart wanted to go, yet STILL had 21% battery left in the tank! These numbers are far beyond what I expected when I originally read the spec sheet, and it really rattled all presuppositions I had based on years of riding the Evolve Carbon GT prior. Before/after each ride, i'm able to run diagnostics and updates using the remote/phone app, and also play around with a variety of leisure features on ride handling and lighting schemes, all of which are welcome treats! What more can I say? I could sit here and write a catchy jingle about the 98A & 95A bushings and riptide pivot cups I added, the extended wheelbase truck holes I repositioned to, the formidable bash guard I attached, all with sweet safety green stickers finely selected of course, but it's best you take a look for yourself and imagine what recipe you would blend up! Final thoughts are that Evolve has answered a dozen or more questions of mine leading up to this review, and has always been more than fair to me when I needed any incidental maintenance services. Not being left out to dry the moment the check clears is worth noting here, too. Time for me to go ride!

I absolutely love this electric skateboard… It was quite expensive but once you start writing it, you understand why… I would not be too far off to say this is probably, most definitely the top skateboard, E skateboard company on the planet.

Six years ago when I was looking for electric skateboards, I read about Evolve but the price was a little out of reach at the time. I got another cheaper board which was still fun but now that I have this Board I should have went with Evolve all along. The, power, acceleration, and speed of this board is incredible but most of all it’s the amazing ride feeling and how it balances the incredible power with smoothness! It’s also the Evolve brand that I really admire and respect! Thanks Jeff and team for making such an amazing product!

After a few issues which Evolve sorted out straightaway and then mounting the trucks underneath the board for better ground clearance With street wheels, this set up will be impossible to beat the power the handling the predictability with the dad bod 105mm wheels is the perfect combination. Oh, I forgot to mention the range it keeps going forever. I would advise anyone to buy this board.

absolutely love the board and the way it carves but me and my buddy both got a speed wobble at 28 and wrecked pretty hard. make sure those trucks are tightened up if you want to ride fast!
