DIABLO FAQ

1. Whats the difference between the Hadean and Diablo series?

The Diablo Series is Evolves latest technology release and supersedes the Hadean series. Comparing to the Hadean boards, the diablo series uses larger more powerful motors, a new EFOC 2.0 ESC, it has a higher top speed rating, has 20% more ride times due to the larger capacity battery, stronger acceleration and braking performance and new Forged CNC SuperCarve 2 truck design. The Diablo also comes with an upgrade Software package.

2. Can I upgrade my Hadean board to perform like the Diablo?

It's possible to turn the Hadean into a Diablo, however to do this it will require a new Samsung 50S battery, 2 new 6374 motors and a new EFOC 2.0 ESC . Swapping these parts will be an expensive upgrade, its far better off purchasing the complete Diablo board which includes a new deck and the SuperCarve 2.0 trucks.

3. Can the Renegade be upgraded to the Renegade Diablo?

Yes this is possible. To do this you will need 2 new 6374 motors, a new EFOC 2.0 ESC, new remote firmware and new BMS firmware. Please contact Evolve customer service for enquiries.

4. Can I install the new SuperCarve 2 trucks on my Evolve board?

Yes you can. However you will also need the new AT or Street drive gears that fit the new truck axle. To purchase the new SuperCarve 2 trucks please see the link or contact Evolve customer service for enquiries.

5. Why does my remote vibrate when accelerating hard or riding up a hill?

If your remote vibrates under these riding conditions its possible you have activated ‘Over Current mode’. The Diablo board allows for a large amount of current to be used for a period of 7-8 seconds only. After 7-8 seconds the remote will drop to Sport mode until you release the acceleration trigger in which the remote automatically returns to Corsa mode.

6. Can I install the Diablo 6374 motors on my Hadean?

The motors can fit the Hadean motor plates, however they will not work properly with the Hadean motor controller, BMS and remote due to firmware incompatibility.

7. Why is my remote displaying ‘Heat’ and vibrating?

If your remote displays Heat this means you have activated heat protection on your skateboard and the remote is telling you this. If the motor controller gets over 85 degrees or the battery gets above 70 degrees the motor controller will reduce power until the system recovers and cools down.

COMPATIBILITY

1. Motors:

3000W motors can be used with: Fusion, GTR2, Stoke X, Hadean Series, Renegade 1 boards.

3500W motors can be used with: Diablo Series (Carbon, Bamboo Renegade).

2. Battery:

12S3P 15Ah battery can be used on: Diablo and Fusion decks.

12S4P 20Ah battery can only be used on: Hadean and Diablo Series.

12S4P 16Ah battery can only be used on: Hadean Series.

12S2P 10Ah battery can be used on: Stoke X, Fusion, Diablo, Hadean decks.

3. Motor Controllers (EFOC 1.0 & 2.0):

Diablo MC (EFOC 2.0):

Only compatible with Diablo boards using 3500W motors. Diablo uses specific Diablo firmware to operate 3500W motors.

Fusion and Stoke X MC (EFOC 2.0):

Only compatible with 3000W motors. Firmware is configured for 3000W motors.

Hadean / GTR2 MC (EFOC 1.0):

Only compatible with Hadean and GTR2 models. Not compatible with Diablo, Stoke X, or Fusion boards.

Transition to EFOC 2.0:

Once EFOC 1.0 is out of stock, EFOC 2.0 will be used across all board models, including for after-sales support for Hadean and GTR2 models.

Identification:

EFOC 2.0 uses a RED PCB.

Yellow sticker = Diablo boards.

White sticker = Fusion, Stoke X, Hadean, and GTR2 boards.

Important Note:

While batteries can be shared across different board models, the motor controller must always match the motor size:

3500W motors must use the Diablo MC EFOC 2.0.

3000W motors must use the Fusion / Stoke X / Hadean MCs EFOC 2.0 for proper operation.

With the exception of new release pre-orders, most in-stock orders will be fulfilled within 2 business days of the order date. Please allow 1-2 days additional processing time for Custom Board Builder orders.

All Skateboards must be shipped as Hazmat or Dangerous goods shipments. Please note; FedEx and UPS do not guarantee expeditated services for Hazmat or Dangerous shipments. If an expedited delivery option is selected and your shipment is delayed, FedEx will not refund payment. Consequently, we are unable to refund shipping payments for delayed shipments.
Due to shipping restrictions, we are unable to ship HazMat/DG shipments to certain zip codes. If you zip code is unable to receive these shipments, please contact us directly to discuss alternative pick up locations

Canadian Customers: Customers are responsible for Customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees(collected at checkout). All orders containing a skateboard order must ship FedEx Express service only.

Mexican Customers: Due to our carriers current policies, at this time we are unable to ship orders containing a skateboards to addresses in Mexico.

APO, FPO Addresses: We ship orders to APO and FPO addresses, however we are unable to ship complete boards to APO and FPO addresses. Contact our headquarters in Australia at ask@evolveskateboardsusa.com.au for information on purchasing a board in your location.

Most in stock orders ship within 1-2 business days however, processing time may increase during heavy traffic times such as peak season and holidays.
