Awesome Board!
I waited a few months to write this, so I could give an honest appraisal. As of now, I've put about 700 miles on the Fusion.
Fair warning - the only other electric skateboard I've ridden is a Boosted V2 Dual+ that I rode for a few thousand miles over a period of about 6 or 7 years.
Coming from the Boosted board, there were a few areas where I think the Fusion was slightly worse.
1. The controller (though it's growing on me) - I do like that I can customize it, but the trigger + thumb brake felt clumsier than the wheel on the Boosted remote.
2. The deck and ride feel - The Boosted board felt much closer to a normal skateboard, but I would grant that a large part of that is down to the battery weight and the ability to use a thinner deck than the Fusion has.
Also, the Boosted had a simpler design, which meant less could go wrong. Not that the Fusion has really had major problems, but my remote will sometimes reset to defaults (about once a week). It's not a huge deal, but it's annoying having to go back and adjust everything for seemingly no reason.
The only other downside is that the power availability is heavily tied to battery life. If I have 100% battery, the board can hit 32MPH with street wheels and about 27 on the AT wheels. For every 15% drop in battery, expect the top speed to drop by 1MPH. It's not as linear as that, but it's a pretty good rule of thumb. I should also note that braking power and acceleration also reduce in a similar way. None of this is terrible.…
